The Empire of Constantinopol Falls
Today January 19 1453, Constantinopole falls under the the great Mehmed the second. The great Mehmed was given this opportunity by the large decrease of people in the city. Mehmeds outstanding army fired at the tough walls protecting the city. There was a chain across the Golden Horn the Bosporus Strait and the Sea of Marmara prevented Mehmed's army from passin in the city. Mehmed had the situation all under controlled which led the Turkish army into Constantinopole. The powerful army dragged 70 ships over a huge hill. The city was unsure of what the army was doing and so withought a doubt the defended it for seven weeks. After a while, the warriors found an opening through the city walls and entered the city leading them to take over. After this mighty and glorious battle Mehmed proved how honorable and being able to protect his country and gain more land forit. He allowed everyone no matter what religion and no matter what race to enter the city he fought so hard to conquer. Now the city is being rebuilt by these villagers and will have a new name for it.
