The Dark Ages

I strongly agree that this name was a proper name for the Middle Ages. My first reason is because during those ages Rome was invaded by a group of dirty thugs called "The Visigoths" whose purpose was to kill and steal from the citizens of ancient Rome. Because of this group the empire of Rome started to tremble before them. Another strong reason is that people got sick because of the plague and had no jobs. There was no medicine during that time for the disease so it spread and most of Romes population died. There was also a higher demand of products and so the prices raised. The economy was at its lowest. At that time the citizens of Rome started living inside the Colosseum and started destroying it so that they could create shacks to live in. Rome went from a modern and civilized country into a poor and reckless city. I believe that my reasons support my argument and my opinion. The middle ages were perhaps even beyond dark, they were a time of misery, misfortune and it was an even greater tragedy when Rome found it so extremely difficult to overcome its issues.
